We’re a private lending marketplace that’s all about business connections. The marketplace connects accredited investors to asset-based loan investment opportunities, with a target return of 7-25% p.a., across multiple alternative asset classes. Investment opportunities are backed by collateral of real underlying assets like real estate, a portfolio of legal cases, corporate receivables and aircraft, Private Lending allows investors to invest in assets differently whilst maintaining a secured position. In essence the investor becomes the Bank.
We want to expand our Asian marketplace network, and we’re looking for the right person to help us do it. We are currently looking to match accredited investors with highly vetted asset-backed private lending investment opportunities.
You are a business professional with a great track record in networking. We’d prefer it if you already have some experience and connections in Asia, but it’s your ability to network and establish relationships that matters most.
Not only will you be establishing new networks and agents who are interested in the right private lending opportunities, you’ll be servicing our existing network and you will also have an in-built ability to lead conversations and meetings in the right direction. As part of our team you will:
Effectively, you’ll be our man or woman in Asia – you’ll develop all the right connections, you’ll understand what makes a great match for our borrowers, you’ll have the knack to bring the right parties together, and the communication skills to encourage the deal.
You are not someone who works 9 to 5, and you don’t want a structured environment. You’re a self starter who loves a bit of turmoil and chaos and you never let an opportunity to meet the right people go by.
You have a genuine interest in people and a passion for making things happen. You’re persistent, you thrive on a hectic meeting schedule and you understand that long-term benefits come from the effort you put in to today’s relationships.
We are a private lending marketplace, based in Australia, with representative offices in London and Singapore (opening June2018), whose business is matching accredited investors/lenders with vetted borrowers. Our borrowers have diverse requirements, and we specialise in matching asset-based loan opportunities between parties.
We have a rigorous screening system that ensures we only work with borrowers who are asset sound, have experienced people at the helm and have comprehensive business plans in place.
If you are who we’re looking for, you’ll initially spend some time in Asia depending where you are based setting appointments with your existing networks and making new contacts. We’ll also put you in touch with our own networks so you can arrange to meet with them. After that we will send you on a 2 – 4-week road trip, and during that time you’ll get to really demonstrate your networking credentials!
You’ll revisit your existing networks, you’ll meet with our existing network of investors, borrowers and distributors, and you’ll grow our networks through the new contacts you make and the relationships you build.
As our Asian base expands, we envisage that you will base yourself in Singapore, or alternatively schedule regular trips within Asia where you’ll manage network relationships and continue to seek out new network partners.
